Potosi was once the richest city in the world as in 1545 “the” richest Silver mine in the world was found there, this also marked its tragic destination!  Today “Sumaj Orkho” the beautiful rich Mountain has already lost about 50 mts. of altitude due to the Silver exploitation in the last 500 plus years!
